Frames

— in fact, the frame is the supporting base that determines the shape and structure of the control unit of the model. It provides mounting for various parts such as the engine, electronics, suspension and body. Together, all components form the chassis (see corresponding paragraph). The frame is the basic frame of the model.

Depending on the design features and type of RC models, frames are made of various materials: aluminium, steel, carbon fiber, plastic. Frames are used as parts mainly for assembling models from scratch.
