Power bank mode

— the ability to operate the amplifier in power bank mode — that is, an external battery for charging various gadgets, such as smartphones or pocket players.

This function by definition means that the amplifier is equipped with a built-in battery (see "Power"). Also note that models from this category are mainly portable (see "Type"), however, there are also stationary solutions. The convenience of the Power Bank mode is obvious: it allows you to have an additional source of energy on hand to charge your smartphone or other gadget. However note that the capacity of built-in batteries in headphone amplifiers is usually small, and they are intended more for “emergency recharge” of low batteries than for fully charging gadgets. However, even this possibility can be very useful — for example, if you need to wait for an important call, but you forgot to charge your smartphone, and there is no charger or outlet for it at hand.
