Impurities in this material are used not so much to reduce the cost (although they also affect it), but to give the product the necessary hardness and elasticity (pure gold is a very soft and malleable material). Note that there are different types of jewelry gold; they are described in more detail in the paragraph “Material colour”. However, anyway, this metal is not cheap, thanks to which the gold bracelet perfectly emphasizes the wealth and status of the owner.
