Sapphire

— sapphire belongs to the family of the most expensive gemstones, along with diamond and emerald. Chemically, this material is a variety of corundum, like ruby; in fact, these two minerals differ only in colour (for more details, see "Ruby"). The traditional colour for sapphire is one or another shade of blue, or the absence of colour (leucosapphire); technically, the shade can be almost anything (except "ruby"), but other options are extremely rare.

Note that sapphires are produced artificially, and in terms of quality and appearance, such stones are quite comparable to natural ones. Nevertheless, even with such inserts, the bracelet is not cheap, not to mention natural sapphires.
