Chrysolite

— a precious stone of a relatively inexpensive price category; sometimes referred to as semi-precious. The classic colour of chrysolite is green with a yellow tint, variations are possible in the direction of one or another colour. The stone changes colour slightly when the light changes — the green tint is most pronounced at dusk or by candlelight. However, for a number of reasons, this material is not particularly popular in modern jewelry.
