A compact cordless impact wrench designed for tightening and loosening bolts and nuts ranging from M8 to M16 or long and large screws used in construction for the installation and assembly of wooden structures. The brushless motor and tangential (impulse) impact mechanism provide high torque at the output shaft, necessary for tightly fastening or breaking fasteners.

The Makita DTW181Z impact wrench has two driving modes with different characteristics: at the first speed (1300 rpm), the torque reaches 70 Nm, and at the second speed (2400 rpm), it reaches 210 Nm. In unscrewing mode, the tool can break bolts and nuts with a torque of up to 330 Nm. The tool's body is 151 mm long, allowing work in hard-to-reach places. An LED light is built into the body to illuminate the working area. The square drive, onto which socket heads are mounted, is 3/8" in size. The wrench requires a Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion battery for power (charger and battery are not included).
