A cordless planer with a planing width of 82 mm, designed for carpentry work: planing flat surfaces, forming chamfers on the ends and edges of boards or sampling a quarter (rebate). To adjust the planing depth, the Makita DKP180RTJ planer has a regulator that allows you to change the thickness of the removed layer of wood in the range from zero to 2 mm. The cast sole has a V-shaped groove for chamfers and a spring-loaded shoe to protect against accidental damage to the surface. Chips are ejected to the right side through a pipe, to which you can attach a dust bag (not included) or a vacuum cleaner hose. Makita 18V LXT batteries are used as power sources. The kit includes two batteries, each with a capacity of 5 Ah, a charger and a roomy Makpac case.
