Panasonic RP-TCM115
Type:in-ear
Connection:3.5 mm
Frequencies:10 – 24000 Hz
Sensitivity:109 dB

An affordable model of in-ear headphones with a microphone from a Japanese manufacturer known for the quality of its products. It is positioned as a product of the initial price category with basic functionality. It is aimed at users who, with a limited low-cost, want to purchase a branded accessory with a guaranteed high level of quality. Primarily designed for use with mobile devices - smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Due to the low impedance of 16 ohms, they can work effectively with low-cost smartphones that lack a high-quality output stage for amplifying the audio signal. Panasonic RP-TCM115 headphones are equipped with relatively large (9 mm) dynamic drivers with neodymium magnets. According to the manufacturer, they provide reproduction of the full frequency range from 10 to 24000 Hz with a pronounced bass accent.

The noticeable low frequency coloration is perfect for playing modern electronic and electronic dance music, hip-hop and some other popular music genres. To connect to the source, a flexible round cable 1.2 m long is provided, ending with an L-shaped plug with a 4-pin mini-Jack 3.5 mm connector. Equipped with a microphone, which turns the headphones into a full-fledged wired headset for receiving incoming calls.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Panasonic RP-TCM115 headphones offer a mixed experience for users. On the positive side, they feature a functional microphone and deliver good sound quality for an affordable price. However, some users have reported issues with the sound balance, particularly noting that the sound in the left ear can be quieter. The design is described as flimsy, with thin wires that may not inspire confidence in durability. While some users enjoy using these headphones without any complaints, others suggest considering alternatives, such as options from Xiaomi, for similar pricing. Overall, the RP-TCM115 may be suitable for those seeking budget-friendly headphones with a microphone, but potential buyers should be aware of the noted design and sound balance concerns.

The model is just great! I've been using it for almost half a year, and there are no complaints!

It is worth looking at options from Xiaomi for + - the same money

Previously, I used the Panasonic RP-HJE125E-K, and I decided to buy these for the microphone. My first thought upon unboxing was, "I need to be careful, or something might tear." The wires are thin and do not inspire any confidence. They fit worse in the ears than the aforementioned model. They sound about the same, but the sound in the left ear was noticeably quieter. Overall, it was terrible; I did not expect such quality from this manufacturer.

The sound in the left ear is quieter, very flimsy design, do not sit well

Popular questions

Are Panasonic RP-TCM115 suitable for making calls on a smartphone?

Yes, a cable-mounted microphone and call-answer button are provided. This is convenient if the phone is equipped with a 3.5 mm jack; the review separately notes incompatibility with certain Nokia and ZTE devices.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviews

How do the Panasonic RP-TCM115 sound?

Sound with noticeable bass and fairly clear detail, but with less pronounced mids, while the high frequencies may sound uneven. This is an option for everyday music and energetic genres, rather than for those who prefer a smooth and neutral presentation.Source:Expert reviews

Should I choose this model instead of the RP-HJE125E?

The Panasonic RP-TCM115 is the more logical choice if you need a built-in microphone for calls. Compared with the model reviewed, the RP-HJE125E fit slightly deeper and sound a little cleaner and more detailed, but they do not have an in-line headset remote.Source:Expert reviews

Are they comfortable to wear every day?

Panasonic RP-TCM115 weigh 12 g and come with silicone ear tips, so they do not feel heavy. In a review, the fit and isolation were rated as decent, but one buyer noted that the earphones fit him poorly — it is worth choosing the right ear tip size.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviewsGeneral information

How reliable is the cable?

The cable is thin, so it should be handled with care: its quality was identified as a weak point in a review, and one buyer also complained about the fragility of the construction. The angled plug has basic protection against bending.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviewsGeneral information
