High-quality over-ear headphones of a closed type with increased impedance and good passive noise isolation. The manufacturer is positioned as a relatively affordable product of the upper price category, designed for professional use in studios. They feature a flat frequency response that provides sound output with minimal harmonic and timbre distortion. In addition, Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm headphones will be of interest to lovers of high-quality "neutral" sound, using Hi-Fi players or advanced sound cards with high-quality output amplifiers that are well matched with increased impedance as a source.
They have a practical wear-resistant design adapted to active use. It is important that most of its elements are removable and replaceable. High-quality dynamic drivers provide accurate reproduction of an extended frequency range (from 5 to 35,000 Hz) with minimal harmonic distortion. Equipped with a long three-metre twisted round cable with a straight plug (3-pin mini-Jack 3.5mm) and an adapter to Jack 6.3mm mm to work with professional equipment.

The Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro is considered a true classic and one of the best full-size closed-back headphones. If you open any top studio models, then with a probability of 99% you will see the DT 770 Pro there. Or her brothers DT 880 and DT 990 Pro. They earned cult status thanks to the combination of indestructible construction and moderately honest, but at the same time lively and assertive sound.
Made in Germany
Made in Germany, the quality of materials and assembly are impeccable and have been trouble-free for decades. In terms of ergonomics, everything is also on top. The cups sit comfortably, the ear cushions tightly cover the ears, providing high-quality noise isolation. Ear cushions can be changed, ordered optionally, and it is better to do it right away in order to have a pair in reserve. The only pity is that the cable cannot be disconnected if necessary, and the cups do not rotate and do not fold. It can be seen that they were designed exclusively with an eye on studio work, and listening to music turned out to be a nice bonus.
Monitor sound, but not boring
In terms of sound, here Beyerdynamic remained true to their signature sound: detailed, natural and emotional. These are not exactly “dry studio” headphones, Beyerdynamic even in professional models leaves room for “melomania”. Therefore, they are also suitable for the studio, since everything is clearly audible on the recording, and for home use, since the sound is still “tinted” and far from sterile.
