It allows you to connect up to 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives with hot swapping and support for the most common RAID configurations. Four gigabit LAN ports with aggregation function provide load balancing and network fault tolerance.

Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports are provided for connecting peripheral devices. Additionally, the NAS is equipped with a backup power supply, preventing interruptions in operation during power failures. RS1221+ runs on the DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system with a user-friendly web interface and extensive functionality.
