Model overview based on user reviews
The AMD Ryzen 3 Raven Ridge series, particularly the 2200G variants, is highly praised for its excellent price-to-performance ratio, making it a popular choice for budget builds. Users appreciate its powerful integrated graphics, which competes well with entry-level discrete GPUs like the GTX 730 and 1030, allowing for decent gaming performance in titles like CS:GO, Dota 2, and even GTA 5 at medium-high settings. The processor is noted for its cool operation and ease of overclocking, although some users experienced issues with heat during intensive tasks like video rendering. While the stock cooler is generally sufficient, some users recommend upgrading for quieter operation. Compatibility with Windows 10 is seamless, though it does not support Windows 7. Overall, the Ryzen 3 Raven Ridge is a solid choice for budget-conscious users looking for a capable CPU with integrated graphics, suitable for both gaming and general computing tasks.

I bought it as part of a ready-made Lenovo ideacentre PC in August 2020. It pulls fine. Overclocked to 3.7 GHz in normal mode. It only gets hot when using AI and rendering. And it’s VERY cold by processor standards. VERY cold Easy overclock in Ryzen Master. Powerful integrated graphics (Almost as powerful as RX560) Handles mid-level games like SCP Secret Laboratory. WoT. When overclocked above 3.7GHz, it wants to die Heats up terribly during video rendering (Up to 90 degrees) Expensive price at the moment (a year ago it was cheaper) |
I thought that the performance would be much lower. I don't know how the guys on YouTube tested it (actually, I do know, but I don't want to "point fingers"), it surpasses the i3 9100f in everything, easily overclocks to 4GHz. Integrated graphics are at the level of 1030 (slightly weaker, tested with Intel Pentium 3.0 GHz). I recommend it. 1)Performance 2)Cost 3)No issues with overclocking 4)Unlike the 1000 series, it works more stably 1) It is possible to add 2 cores and 2 threads |
Bought this model because I didn't have enough money for a discrete graphics card, so I had to go with this chip :). The boxed cooler handles the cooling wonderfully, performance is at a good level, with a Vega 8 (2 gb) graphics core on board. Games like CS:GO and Dota 2 can be played almost on ultra settings :). Personally, I am satisfied with this processor. Been using it for 2 weeks. For its price, it's an excellent option. No |
