The wired gaming mouse, released in 2025, continues the legendary Gladius series, renowned for its precise asymmetric ergonomics for the right hand. The body shape is optimized for all main grip types — palm, claw, and fingertip, and the device weighs a moderate 72 grams, ensuring a balance between aiming stability and ease of control. A key engineering solution that makes the Asus ROG Gladius III Core stand out among competitors is the proprietary Push-Fit Switch Socket design.

This technology allows the user to independently replace the main microswitches without using a soldering iron, which not only extends the device's life in case of wear but also offers the possibility to customize the actuation force by installing compatible 3-pin mechanical or optical switches. By default, it comes with ROG Micro Switch II switches boasting an impressive resource of 100 million clicks and minimal actuation force deviation.

The optical sensor PixArt 3311, with a resolution of 12000 DPI and a speed of 300 IPS, ensures precise tracking, capable of handling sudden jerks with acceleration up to 35G. The connection to the PC is provided by a flexible two-meter ROG Paracord cable in a braid, whose structure minimizes friction on the table surface, complementing the work of the rounded Teflon ROG Omni feet.
