The gaming model of the middle price range, primarily remarkable for the ability to adjust the weight — the “native” weight of the device is 87 g, but it can be changed by installing / removing special weights. Belongs to wired solutions, connects to a computer via a classic USB port using a 2.1 metre cable. The device is based on classic optical technology and a fairly reliable Hero sensor, and a convenient ergonomic design of the body allows you to grab the device both with the palm and with your fingers.

The Logitech G403 Hero mouse boasts 5 programmable buttons, the ability to adjust the resolution (within 100-16000 dpi) and a high maximum speed (10 m / s) of the cursor movement, thanks to which it does not disappear even during sudden movements. With the help of the DPI button, the resolution can be changed directly during the game session, and the built-in memory allows you to store settings profiles for various games. This mainly applies to commands that are "planted" on certain buttons — the settings for each game remain unchanged. The cable of this model is braided, which reliably protects it from mechanical influences.

The mouse is great for the price.

There is no need to look at any bloggers' reviews of this mouse. They often compare it with models in a higher price category. I wrote down 2 more points as disadvantages because these are my personal nitpicks. They don't affect anything. I never write reviews, but this mouse pushed me to take this action, although I was too lazy.
- sensor (it's simply divine)
- presence of a weight
- bottom pads glide well on the mat
- wheel is good, haven't noticed any flaws
- side buttons in perfect position
- mouse suitable for both fingertip and palm grip, which is convenient for me (subjective)
- pleasant sound from switch clicks
- lightness of the mouse (subjective)
- Logitech GHUB is a GOOD APPLICATION. Don't pay attention to reviews where it's criticized. People, mostly, either don't want or are unable to take a few minutes to figure it out.
- cable is light and pleasant to the touch
- mouse fits perfectly in hand
- nice rubber sides that prevent fingers from slipping off the mouse
- beautiful, strict, and minimalist lighting (I like it)
There might be even more advantages; some I might have forgotten.
- cable not braided (the cable in my unit was not braided (bought from DNS), but that's more of a nitpick, it doesn't really affect gameplay)
- slight play in RMB and LMB. THIS ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT AFFECT ANYTHING. No extraneous sounds, no discomfort. Everything is excellent.

Buy it, you won't regret it)

I mainly bought it to play CS 1.6 and CS GO.
It's worth the money.
1. If you carefully adjust the sensitivity in the game, you can simply dominate.)
2. The cursor points exactly where you want, after about 15 minutes of getting used to it, and in CS, you can even get headshots across the map, even pre-aimed.)
3. After 2 years of use, nothing, NOTHING has fallen off or broken.
4. The optimal number of buttons, nothing excessive.
5. It feels very comfortable in hand, like it belongs there.
Drawbacks, except for the wire, are absent. I would like the exact same one, but BT, and with the ability to charge from a mat.

Everything is great, convenient, no sensor disruptions! (finally)

Everything is good, suitable for the e-sports discipline CS:GO. Heard there were issues with the wheel in the Prodigy version. In Hero, such problems were not found.
+ Shape. Fits a medium-sized hand like a glove.
+ Rubberized sides where you hold with your thumb on the right and where you grip with your pinky and ring finger on the left.
+ Light, thin cord. Many people generally dislike cords, claiming they are heavy. Bloody's cords are much heavier. Here, everything is OK.
+ Software. Very convenient, clear, and functional. The software is OK.
+ Glide pads. Wide, large glide pads. With a decent mat - perfect glide with sufficient traction.
+ 10g weight. Without it - too light for me, but it's a matter of habit and taste.
+ NO sensor failures EVEN ONCE in a year. Changed mice due to sensor failures, especially for CS:GO. Here, no problems, everything is precise and reliable.
+ Additional buttons are convenient and well-placed.
+ Build quality visually and tactilely good. Nothing rattles or has any play.
- In use for a year - so far none.
