Simple and efficient WiFi 4 (802.11b/g/n) wireless router with two external antennas. It is one of the most affordable Asus N300 class network routers. It will become a real "workhorse" capable of working flawlessly 24/7 in a private home, city apartment or small office. To organize an incoming connection to the provider's network, it is equipped with one Fast Ethernet WAN port with a bandwidth of up to 100 Mbps.
The Asus RT-N12E wireless router is capable of creating and maintaining a Wi-Fi network in the 2.4 GHz band. Thanks to the MIMO 2x2 multi-stream data transfer technology, the peak (theoretical) speed of over-the-air connections can reach 300 Mbps, but the practical speed of wireless data download / upload usually does not exceed 110-130 Mbps. Such indicators are quite enough for typical home or office tasks, among which it is worth mentioning multi-user video conferencing, watching IPTV and high-quality streaming video, cloud and web services, IP telephony and network gaming. In addition to its main role, the router can act as a repeater or access point. Two antennas provide 5 dBi signal amplification, which has the most positive effect on the area and coverage quality. Able to correctly handle VPN traffic.

Do not buy! No. Constant connection failures, I have to turn off/on the router. After the first flashing from the official website, the router broke down - the computer did not see it, the indicators did not light up. The local service center was unable to fix the problem. I managed to restore it myself using tips from the Internet. Some problems with the router. I do not recommend messing with this model.
