The Bosch GKS 18V-57 saw is designed for heavy (by the standards of a cordless tool) work. The depth of cut claimed by the manufacturer (57 mm or 39 mm when cutting wood at an angle of 45 °) is “honest”. That is, this circular saw does not cut lumber of such thickness with difficulty, at the limit of its capabilities, like inexpensive hand-held circular saws, but easily and deftly. Therefore, it is used by professional carpenters and builders who need a strong and reliable tool for everyday use.
