A cordless planer with a brushless motor that provides a high drum speed with knives (up to 15,000 rpm), necessary for high-quality and clean processing of soft and hard wood surfaces. The cast sole is 82 mm wide and has a total length of 295 mm. The planing depth is adjustable from zero to 2 mm in 0.1 mm increments. The sole of the DeWALT DCP580N planer has a V-shaped groove that allows you to accurately remove 45-degree chamfers from the edges of wooden workpieces.
The ejection of shavings that are formed during planing of wood is carried out on the right side. The round shape of the nozzle allows you to use the dust collector, which is included in the kit, or connect a vacuum cleaner. In this package, the tool is supplied without a battery and charger. As a power source, use a DeWALT 18V XR battery with a capacity of 1.3 Ah to 5 Ah. Without the battery, the planer weighs 2.5 kg.
