Relatively compact and quality-sounding desktop two-way acoustic stereo system of medium power with an integrated Bluetooth 5.4 controller, built-in DSP processor with dynamic range compression (DRC) function, class D digital amplifier, and two analog inputs, allowing for two simultaneous analog connections. Positioned as a mid-range product, targeted at a wide range of users who prefer decent desktop acoustics from well-known brands.

The Edifier R990BT acoustic system can be used with personal computers, miniPCs, smartphones, tablets, CD/DVD players, TVs, media boxes, and gaming consoles. The set includes an active speaker with two analog inputs (4xRCA) and a passive speaker connected via an included cable. Each speaker outputs sound through a broadband long-throw 4" driver and a 1" silk dome tweeter.

The total nominal power of the system reaches 24 W (2x12 W), which will be quite sufficient for acoustically covering a room of up to 16 m². Fine-tuning of the device is carried out using a smartphone with the EDIFIER ConneX app installed. The speaker enclosures are made of dense MDF, providing the necessary depth to the sound and eliminating the unpleasant phenomenon of acoustic resonance.
