LG OLED55C1
![]() |
Stilya-TV with a thin "floating" screen on a massive stand. The display of the model is based on self-emitting "organic" pixels, the operation of which is controlled individually. The OLED panel has a 10-bit colour depth, which allows you to display over 1 billion shades of colour, is notable for an infinite level of contrast and support for a whole package of high dynamic range image technology specifications: HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG and Dolby Vision IQ (the latter are based on sensors, which automatically monitor the illumination).
Console gamers will appreciate the presence in the LG OLED55C1 of the HDMI v 2.1 interface — through it it is possible to output an image in 4K resolution (3840x2160 pixels) at 120 fps. In addition, the TV panel supports the Variable Refresh Rate function, which is an analogue of AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync frame synchronization technologies to minimize delays and eliminate gaps during the transmission of a picture from a video signal source. The TV's 2.2-channel sound system with a total output of 40W provides good volume with audible bass. The icing on the cake is a functional webOS 6.0 smart system. The control of the TV panel is tied to the Magic Remote pointer. Mounting holes for a VESA 300x200 mm wall bracket are made on the back side of the model case.

If you plan to set it up yourself after purchase, you'll struggle a bit. First, assemble the stand with 3 screws, and then place the TV onto it. The image quality and operating speed are top-notch. The stand does not inspire confidence, so if you have clumsy people around, it's better to mount it directly on the wall. |
Very good panel. I kindly ask the moderator not to ban the review. I'm a regular buyer, not an advertiser or troll. Bought for 105k RUB in December 2031 at the Techno Empire. The TV was delivered fully packaged and untouched by anyone. There is a return guarantee from the store. The picture is mesmerizing. Sound use LG OLED55C1 few months |
LG's top-of-the-range TVs are produced entirely on OLED panels as a screen substrate. The advanced model OLED55C1 was no exception to the rule.
Self-luminous pixels
The TV matrix consists of self-luminous pixels, which act as guarantors of backlight uniformity and provide an infinite level of contrast. The ability to turn off individual pixels in dark areas of the scene allows you to achieve impressive black depth. Moreover, the TV's OLED panel has a 10-bit colour depth and perfectly "digests" HDR content (HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision).
Gamer stuff
The model supports AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible technologies with frequency gradation from 40 to 120 Hz. In addition, the VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) function is used to minimize delays and eliminate gaps when transmitting a picture from a video signal source (for example, a game console). High frame rate 4K output is available from all four HDMI v 2.1 ports on the TV's interface shelf. And the TV panel displays a picture with a delay of only 1 ms.
Universal character
The “mind” of the LG OLED55C1 contains its own webOS 6.0 operating system, controlled from the Magic Remote pointer. The 2.2 format acoustics of two 10 W stereo speakers and two subwoofers of the same power are responsible for the sound of the TV. The model is one of the best in terms of image quality. In addition, she captivates with the versatility of her character — the TV will fit cinephiles, console gamers and a sensitive audience in general.

As for the speakers, they didn't put much effort into them. The sound is flat. This didn't particularly bother me. I bought it for the screen. I also pre-purchased a 5.1 system from Yamaha, and I recommend the same to you. Now it's bliss.
You should pay attention to its weight and dimensions. Transporting and assembling (the stand) a 55" alone is dangerous. The top part of the screen is very thin, and given the weight, you shouldn't grab it there.
It's interesting to know that starting in 2021, LG decided to drop DTS sound support, so when watching videos from a flash drive, this format won't be available. In those cases, I use a media player.
A couple of months later, a button on the remote broke, but that's that...
