An advanced case from a fairly popular brand Lian Li, which allows you to assemble a convenient, beautiful and reliable system unit based on the E-ATX motherboard. The platform uses two 160mm front fans and a 140mm rear fan. Large and powerful impellers make air cooling as efficient as possible. The kit includes a patched outer plate for installing another 120 mm fan that blows over the PCI slots, in particular the video card.

The control panel can be placed both on top and on the side. The main tuning unit can be supplemented with an optional section with an external ARGB controller. Computer case Lian Li Lancool 216 is equipped with a ventilated compartment for the power supply and HDD basket. From memory drives, you can use as many as six 2.5″ devices and two more 3.5″ hard drives. The viewing sidewall is represented by a folding panel with a magnetic mount for quick access to the chassis. A removable frame for mounting a 360 mm water radiator is provided on top. The PCI slot bracket can be unfolded to allow vertical mounting of the graphics card. A front dust filter can be ordered optionally with this case. An optional PCIe 4.0 X16 riser is also available, compatible with the latest generation of graphics cards.

Furthermore, Lian Li has totally redesigned the front fan assembly. It now includes a pair of 160mm fans housed in a specially designed shroud that channels air directly through the fans, cutting down on turbulence. Inside the main chamber, there are plenty of hardware options, including support for E-ATX motherboards, full size GPUs, and 180mm CPU coolers. Additionally, the Lancool 216 has been enhanced for maximum airflow by including an external bracket that enables you to install a 120mm fan to pull air across your GPU to maintain optimal temperatures. They are able to produce an astounding 118.85CFM of airflow with a static pressure of 3.10mmH2O. AIR COOLING MODE / WATER COOLING MODE The modular motherboard I/O allow users to move the motherboard to a higher position which is more favorable for air-cooled systems, or a lower position for water-cooled systems. GPU READY With enough room for graphics cards up to 392mm in length, and 180mm in height (for air cooling mode), the LANCOOL 216 is compatible with even the largest NVIDIA 4000 series cards. PRESSURE LEAK FREE Pre-installed at the front of the top radiator bracket, a seal plate ensures no pressure leak is created when installing smaller than a 360 radiator/3x120mm fans at the top. REMOVEABLE TOP RADIATOR BRACKET The top mounting bracket can be completely removed from the case for easier hardware installation. The bracket comes off with the left side frame bar to provide optimal clearance. Two grooves have been implemented to allow easy passage of fan cables into the second chamber of the case, simplifying cable management and making the overall look of the build better. PCIE FAN BRACKET The GPU placed at the top of the expansion slots in air cooling mode opens up the possibility to add a 120mm fan at the rear of the case without obstructing the GPU I/O. This is also possible with a vertically mounted GPU in both air-cooled and water-cooled mode. The additional 120mm fan provides better cooling for the GPU and a greater intake/exhaust balance for the system. VERTICAL GPU COMPATIBLE The PCIe expansion slot panel can be rotated to vertically install the GPUs, only an additional riser cable is required. Although Taiwanese company Lian Li is famous for its well-designed premium cases, its lineup also includes more affordable solutions for regular users. One such example is the popular Lancool 216 case, which stands out for its well-designed design, excellent ventilation, and large capacity. This is a rare Midi Tower that allows you to install a large E-ATX motherboard, a tower cooler up to 180 mm high, and a video card almost 40 cm long.

Giant pre-installed fans

Unlike most similar cases with a mesh front panel and front fans, this one uses not the standard 120 mm fans, but huge 160 mm fans, which, according to the manufacturer, provide a more powerful air flow with a minimum noise level. The top cover with a mesh design and a perforated bottom panel for cooling the power supply additionally improve ventilation. Also, in the front panel and under the cover, you can install 360 and 280 mm long liquid cooling radiators instead of air cooling.

Modular front panel

Another interesting feature of the case is the modular front panel with three USB ports, which can be installed either on the top cover or on the lower side panel. This is convenient if the case is located on a table.
