Elite appearance
Measuring 107x28.6x33.2 cm, the speakers are equipped with wide supports with metal spikes, thanks to which the heavy product is stable on any floor. The MDF case has an anti-resonant design and excellent durability, even at extreme volume positions, the sound balance is not disturbed. The speakers are offered in ebony and mocha walnut finishes with black bezels that cover about 60% of the grills. It is worth saying that without grills, the speakers look more spectacular, as they are equipped with as many as 5 speakers!
In the line of fire
The speaker system supports 4 bands and reproduces an incredibly wide frequency range of 23 – 53000 Hz. And not smart. The system uses two tweeters with a diameter of 19 mm and 30 mm, 1 combined woofer/midrange driver and 2 midbasses with a diameter of 170 mm, made using proprietary FE-Dynamics technology, which ensures minimal electrical and mechanical losses. The bass/midrange pair works in a bass-reflex design, and there are also two branded Air-Flex ports on the rear wall. The bell in their outlet part prevents the occurrence of air turbulence and, as a result, extraneous overtones.
Sound without compromise
The sound of the system is simply royal. First of all, this is an open, fast bass and a collected lower middle. It seems as if, in addition to 2 front speakers, a subwoofer and rear speakers are also playing. The rhythmic pattern is clear and dynamic, the rhythm section is delivered in relief, but smoothly, and the orchestra with a spectrum in a very wide band is perceived as a whole, with a general harmony of individual instruments. The scene is clearly localized across the entire width.
The system is designed for a maximum amplifier power of 350W and supports Bi-Amping/Bi-Wiring connection using two pairs of high quality universal gold-plated screw terminals. The sound can easily be shaken for a room with an area of 50 – 70 m².
All this splendor Magnat estimated a little, a lot at $ 1,400, which, however, did not prevent the Signature 507 from becoming a bestseller in just a year from the moment it was released.
