All-in-one, high-performance, dual-band, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless access point for ceiling mounting. It has a simple stylish design, it will easily fit into the interior of an office, shop, restaurant, hotel and other large premises. Equipped with four internal antennas with 2x2 MIMO mode and 2/2.5 dBi gain for 2.4/5 GHz bands. As a hardware basis, a powerful 4-core network processor Quallcom IPQ-4018 (710 MHz) is used, working with 128 MB of RAM and 16 MB of Flash memory.
According to the manufacturer, this configuration can provide data transfer rates up to 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band (802.11b/g/n) and up to 867 Mbps at a carrier frequency of 5 GHz (802.11a/n/ac). The incoming connection of the MikroTik cAP ac access point is carried out through one of the two RJ-45 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet ports, it is also possible to work in WISP mode. The device can function as an amplifier (repeater) and a bridge. Power is supplied through the incoming cable network port using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE In) technology. The second outgoing Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE out support can be used to connect other active network equipment or a webcam.
