Simple and powerful omnidirectional Wi-Fi 5 access point with Power-Over-Ethernet technology. It can only work in one of two bands — 2.4 or 5 GHz (parallel operation in both is not supported). This model is intended for distribution of the Internet via Wi-Fi in the yards of residential complexes, in parks, on the summer grounds of cafes or restaurants. The housing design allows the access point to operate at temperatures from -40 to +70 °C.
The durable metal case protects from rain, snow, fog, condensate and plays the role of a heat sink dissipating the heat generated by the powerful radio channel amplifier unit (31 dBm, 1300 mW). The MikroTik Metal 52 ac access point comes with an omnidirectional dual-band antenna with a gain of 6 dBi at 2.4 GHz and 8 dBi at 5 GHz. Thanks to the use of the RouterOS operating system with a Level 4 license, many of the fine-tuning required by advanced IT specialists are available. The basis of the hardware configuration of the device is the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9556 MIPS processor, which works in conjunction with 64 MB of RAM.
