A universal "breed" zoom lens released at the beginning of 2020 for Micro 4/3 mirrorless cameras. The model looks most harmonious on Olympus OM-D camera bodies. The lens covers an equivalent focal length range from 24 to 90 mm and has a constant aperture of f/4 regardless of the optical zoom ratio. Focusing at the short end is possible from a distance of 12 cm relative to the plane of the camera matrix.

In addition, the model provides the ability to take macro shots. Structurally, the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 12-45mm f/4 Pro has 12 elements in 9 groups, the lens has a 7-blade aperture.
