Smartphone of the future?
Until recently, numerous cameras remained the lot of flagship solutions: if you want additional features, you can pay extra. However, the order of things is changing. For example, the new OPPO A5 2020 at a price of $200 boasts a powerful camera with 4 modules.

The most interesting part of the show is the rare 4-lens camera in this class. A 12 MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture optics is assigned to the role of the leading quad camera module of the device. Adjacent to it is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 119° field of view and a pair of 2MP auxiliary sensors. Despite the abundance of lenses, it is still impossible to call the OPPO A5 2020 a really powerful camera phone. The main disadvantage was not the most outstanding luminosity of optics. In combination with a small matrix, this makes the device picky about the quality of lighting. Alas, even in the daytime, the pictures can seem unnecessarily dark. Compared to other models under $200, it turns out well, but not great.

The heart of the smartphone is a Snapdragon 665 chip with Adreno 610 graphics and 3 GB of RAM. The volume of built-in storage is 128 GB, there is also a separate slot for a memory card up to 256 GB. In general, the hardware is more than enough for any day-to-day operations with a smartphone – web surfing, streaming video and audio, GPS navigation, etc. It may turn out to be weak in some of the most demanding games or applications.
Cinematic screen and reverse charging
The main weakness of the smartphone was the screen. This is not quite a standard IPS with a 6.5-inch diagonal and a cinematic 20:9 aspect ratio, which is perfect for multimedia content. So what's the catch? For some reason, OPPO decided that a resolution of 1600x720 pixels would be enough for all of us. And this is at a time when FullHD has long become the standard, and many smart phones under $200 are actively switching to FullHD +.
