VA matrix. Quad HD resolution. Refresh rate 75 Hz. Curved screen 1500R. High static contrast. Freesync support.

Large-format 32-inch curved, thin-bezel, semi-gloss screen with wide colour gamut, improved static contrast ratio, and energy-efficient Flicker-Free LED backlighting without high-frequency flickering. It belongs to the 2019 Philips E-Line product family, whose monitors are positioned as universal devices for entry-level / mid-level workstations and home use. The screen's 1500mm radius curve helps to concentrate by engaging the user in the process and compensates for the optical distortions that are noticeable on large diagonal flat screens due to the imperfection of human vision.

Due to the large diagonal, it is possible to position the screen farther from the user's eyes, which effectively reduces the level of chronic tension of the lens muscles. The Philips 325E1C monitor screen is based on a high-quality eight-bit MVA matrix with a resolution of 2560x1440, a short response time (4 ms GtG) and high-quality colour reproduction (123% sRGB). The monitor is equipped with an ergonomic removable stand with a variable angle of inclination. To connect to a signal source, an analogue VGA D-sub port and two digital interfaces HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 are provided.

The curved screen provides a pleasa... morent yet subtle immersion effect, which focuses on you at the centre of your desk Ultra Wide-Color Technology delivers a wider spectrum of colours for a more brilliant picture. The Ultra Wide-Color wider "colour gamut" produces more natural-looking greens, vivid reds and deeper blues. Bring media entertainment, images and even productivity more alive with vivid colours from Ultra Wide-Color Technology The Philips VA LED display uses an advanced multi-domain vertical alignment technology that gives you super-high static contrast ratios for extra-vivid and bright images. While standard office applications are handled with ease, it is especially suitable for photos, web browsing, films, gaming and demanding graphical applications. Its optimised pixel management technology gives you a 178/178 degree extra-wide viewing angle, resulting in crisp images An HDMI-ready device has all the required hardware to accept High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) input. An HDMI cable enables high-quality digital video and audio to be transmitted over a single cable from a PC or any number of AV sources (including set-top boxes, DVD players, A/V receivers and video cameras) DisplayPort is a digital link from PC to monitor without any conversion. With higher capabilities than DVI standard, it is fully capable to support up to 15 metre cables and 10.8 Gbps/sec data transfer. With this high performance and zero latency, you get the fastest imaging and refresh rates — making DisplayPort the best choice for not only general office or home use, but also for the more demanding gaming and films, video editing and more. It also keeps interoperability in mind via the use of various adapters

Juicy colour reproduction

Philips 325E1C is an advanced multimedia monitor with a diagonal of 32" and a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels (16:9 ratio, density 93 PPI). Built on the basis of a VA-matrix with an honest hardware 8-bit colour depth (simpler models often have only 6-bit plus software FRC improvement). Thanks to this, the colour gamut was a solid 123% sRGB and 102% NTSC. As you can see, the sRGB photographic standard is at the level of IPS matrices, and the cinematic NTSC is even higher for a richer picture.

Health Care

To make pastime at the PC not only pleasant, but also not tiring for the eyes, Philips 325E1C implements Flicker Free and Low Blue Light technologies. The first eliminates monitor backlight flicker (pulse-width modulation, PWM for short), and the second reduces the saturation of blue colour in the evening, so that it is easier to fall asleep later. In addition, the high static contrast ratio of the VA matrix — 3000:1 versus 1000:1 for IPS — allows you to work at the monitor at a lower brightness, which also has a positive effect on eye health.

Dip with your head

The Philips 325E1C screen is made slightly curved — the radius of curvature is 1500R. This, firstly, eliminates the effect of the visual bulge of a large diagonal screen when viewed from a close distance. And secondly, it enhances the effect of viewer immersion in a movie or game. By the way, gamers will definitely appreciate the slightly increased refresh rate of the screen up to 75 Hz, low GtG hardware latency of 4 ms and FreeSync frame rate synchronization technology with hertz.

no frills

All in all, the Philips 325E1C is a relatively expensive 32" QuadHD monitor with an elegant design and no frills in the form of an adjustable stand (only the angle changes), USB ports and built-in speakers (however, external stereo speakers can still be connected to a 3.5mm audio jack). But here the picture, as they say, is worth all the money: with high colour rendering rates of sRGB and especially NTSC, and high static contrast ratio. Behind such a monitor it is equally comfortable to work and relax watching a movie or a game. And if you want more, then take a look at Philips 328E1CA with 4K resolution or Philips 346B1C with 21:9 aspect ratio.
