The smartphone runs on an 8-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with Adreno 830 graphics, while 12 GB of RAM and a 256 GB UFS 4.1 storage drive provide a substantial performance reserve for several years. The powerful hardware is complemented by a liquid cooling system, Bose audio system with Hi-Res support, Wi-Fi 7 module, and other up-to-date features.
The Poco F8 Pro 256 GB is equipped with a 6.59-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen offers accurate color reproduction, covers the DCI-P3 color space, and can deliver peak brightness of up to 2000 nits.
Fast Charging and Premium Protected Body
The smartphone's battery life is powered by a 6210 mAh battery. It is claimed to provide over 10 hours of continuous gaming or more than 16 hours of use in mixed mode. Xiaomi HyperCharge technology supports 100 W charging, allowing the battery to charge from 0 to 100% in approximately 37 minutes. It also features 22.5 W reverse charging, allowing the smartphone to be used as a compact power bank for a smartwatch, TWS earbuds, or another phone.
The model's body looks stylish, is only 8 mm thick, and is protected against water and dust according to the IP68 standard. A triple camera module is located on the rear panel. The main 50-megapixel sensor features optical stabilization, while the telephoto lens supports 5x zoom. However, the quality of software image processing still falls short of the best camera phones from Google and Samsung.
