A smartphone with 5G cellular network support, representing the entry-level mid-range segment of mobile devices. The model was released on the global market at the very beginning of 2026. An attractive feature of the device is the waterfall display with curved side edges. It stretches diagonally to 6.77 inches, displaying images at a maximum resolution of 2392x1080 pixels with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
Notably, the AMOLED panel offers 12-bit color representation and is potentially capable of accurately displaying over 68.7 billion shades. The Poco M8 5G 256GB uses an 8-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. A hybrid expansion slot can accommodate a microSD card (instead of a second SIM card). At the back, the smartphone features a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP main Light Fusion 400 sensor and a supplementary 2 MP sensor.
The model is powered by a 5520 mAh battery with 45-watt wired charging support. The device's body is dust and water-resistant to the IP66 standard, and it also withstands minor shocks and drops, as supported by SGS certification.
The waterfall display design and the high color accuracy with 12-bit color representation set this smartphone apart, making it highly appealing for vibrant visual experiences. The powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor ensures smooth performance, while the large battery capacity and fast charging make it suitable for extended use. IP66 certification further ensures durability against the elements.
