Screen, hardware, battery life. Important nuances (these are not pros, just the main comment field is limited in characters, so I'll mention it here): 1) the smartphone is really quite large, after my previous 6.4-inch smartphone it felt a bit unusual at first, keep this in mind. 2) Before purchasing, make sure to check if the power adapter is included, as some stores sell smartphones without it, this is a peculiarity of our market. I see no drawbacks here since I chose the smartphone based on my needs. |
I purchased a device to replace the Poco F6, which I gave to my daughter. To be honest, the Poco F7 hasn't advanced much compared to its predecessor. The chipset is about 20% better, but the Snapdragon 8s gen3 is still a pretty good solution for another year or so, for sure. As for the camera, the difference isn't very big either, but the AI really helps from the first moments of using the device. The video and sound are slightly better. I really liked the battery life with a 6500mAh battery, but the Poco F6 also had decent battery life. The water resistance rated at ip68, or as they write on the Indian market ip69, is a really great feature. And of course, the aluminum frame and reverse charging add a premium touch. If you compare it head-to-head with its predecessor, there are some advantages, but not many. Compared to the Poco F5 or the X-series, like Poco X6, Poco X6 Pro, then yes, it makes sense. Overall, I liked the Poco F7, a great smartphone for its price. New Snapdragon 8s gen4 chipset, incredible battery life with a 6500mAh battery, fast 90w charging, IP68 water resistance, and premium materials. You need to tighten the camera a little, but there is no wireless charging. |
A great phone for its money. Sure, it's not a camera phone, but its hardware is good. It heats up like all phones but cools down quickly. It's not like the F6, which is just plastic and heated up a lot from just sitting on social media. The material quality is excellent. The battery lasts long. Processor, memory, performance. The camera is of a mid-range quality, but it's more focused on performance rather than photos and videos, and there's no charger block included. |

Sub-flagship performance
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, which scores around 2 million in AnTuTu. In real-world use, it handles any games, though the body heats up noticeably under sustained loads. This doesn’t cause significant throttling, but holding the phone becomes less comfortable. The memory configuration includes 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
High-resolution AMOLED display
The POCO F7’s photo capabilities are a standard setup: a dual rear camera at 50 + 8 MP and a 20 MP front camera. The main Sony IMX882 module with optical stabilization delivers solid quality both during the day and in the evening. The display stands out especially: a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 2772×1280 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, making the image as rich and lifelike as possible.
High-capacity battery
At just over 8 mm thick, the smartphone surprises with an impressive 6500 mAh battery. It supports 90 W fast charging. Rounding out the advantages are modern wireless interfaces like Wi‑Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, IP68-rated water and dust resistance, a 5G modem, and the brand’s IR blaster.

I don't understand the previous commenters who say the camera is bad. You probably didn't understand it well, as it's not a camera phone, nor does it position itself as one. If you want super cool photos, then it's better to consider something more expensive, but for simpler tasks like taking pictures of important documents or a few family photos for yourself, it's sufficient. The manufacturer focused on performance and autonomy with this smartphone, and those two aspects are done wonderfully. However, if you plan to play really heavy games like PUBG for more than 30 minutes, I recommend getting a cooler (that's for those who purely want to play games all day).
Separately highlighting the screen, it's a positive surprise: quality, bright, minimal PWM (your eyes don't tire), 120Hz. Someone also mentioned that it lacks 144Hz, but personally, I don't see the point. In most apps, you won't feel the difference between 120 and 144Hz, especially in games, and it would only negatively affect the smartphone's battery life.
In conclusion, the device is worthy, but I wouldn't spend 20,000 UAH on it, as that's how much they want for it in well-known stores. Better to wait a bit; the price of 16,000 UAH suits it perfectly. Even now, in some stores, you can buy it for that much, which is exactly what I did and don't regret it.
