Reliable 4TB (4000GB) SATA3 internal hard drive for workstations and NAS storage. It belongs to the 2020 IronWolf Pro line of HDD drives, which includes 5 models of various sizes (from 2 GB to 10 TB) designed to work in critical enterprise-level data storage systems. With reliability and a proven ability to operate under heavy load 24/7 for a long time, all IronWolf Pro models have been approved by QNAP.
The Seagate IronWolf Pro ST4000NE001 hard drive is equipped with vibration sensors and supports AgileArray dual-plane balancing technology for high performance in multi-drive NAS with up to 24 drives. The manufacturer claims an impressive resource (300 TB / year with a 5-year warranty), which is almost twice the resource of conventional consumer HDD drives. It can be installed in performant workstations focused on streaming processing of large volumes of digital content. The use of CMR recording on magnetic platters rotating at 7200 rpm provides read speeds up to 214 Mbps.

I have 2 ST4000NE001 drives, have been using them for 3 months now, a very good option for the money and significantly cheaper than WD. Overall satisfied, they heat up to 38 while writing, 34 when idle. Overall super! + -  Andrii Beshta: use Seagate ST4000NE001 few months |
