It operates steadily, with read and write speeds quite respectable for an HDD in its class (240–250 MB/s). Sequential copying of large files goes briskly, allowing you to easily transfer photo archives without long waits. However, when it comes to working with a bunch of small files (for example, backing up folders with numerous documents), the drive slows down: the random read speed is only 0.8 MB/s, and the write speed is 2.8 MB/s. This is noticeable: files take significantly longer to copy. There are concerns about the casing: it is prone to smudging, fingerprints are left, and dust clings instantly. On top is unnecessary perforation that just collects dust. It would be better if it had a solid cover. Overall, an excellent option for storing a home photo archive. Perfect for archives and movies.
