The NAS server shell is the proprietary Synology DiskStation Manager solution with a user-friendly web interface and extensive remote management capabilities, including monitoring, rebooting and restoring the system.
Built-in backup tools support data protection from various devices, including PCs, physical servers, virtual machines and cloud services.
