A portable Wi-Fi camera of the TP-LINK brand is a relatively inexpensive solution for organizing video surveillance indoors - in an apartment, shop, office, etc. The compact body is complemented by a practical mount for variably fixing the model on various surfaces, from the table to the wall. A lens with a fixed focal length of 3.3 mm and a 2 MP CMOS sensor are responsible for a high-quality picture here.
The TP-LINK Tapo C100 camera is ready to broadcast moderately detailed video with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. To work in conditions of lack of light, infrared illumination is provided with a range of 9 meters and automatic switching to night mode (there is a light sensor). The functionality of the model is not limited to motion detection. So, when motion activity is detected, the device can start recording to the archive (on memory cards with a capacity of up to 128 GB), send a notification to a proprietary mobile application, thereby warning the user, and also launch active protection options - a siren or a light alarm (to scare off intruders and draw additional attention to unauthorized activities). It is also worth mentioning the presence of a microphone and a speaker for organizing two-way communication and the possibility of integration into a smart home system.
