This lens belongs to the professional optical segment but is offered at a very attractive cost. Its price is about three times lower than the original Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM FE portrait lens. Despite this, the model demonstrates high sharpness even at a wide-open aperture, the autofocus works confidently and quickly, and the 11-blade diaphragm forms a pleasing, softly blended bokeh.

The optical construction is designed with the formula "11 elements in 8 groups" and includes one UA lens, three elements of extra-low dispersion glass, as well as nine high refractive index lenses.
