Viltrox AF 16mm f/1.8

Autofocus ultra-wide-angle prime lens, adapted for shooting nature, landscapes, architecture, and astrophotography. Initially, the model is released in a version for the full-frame Sony E mount, and there is also an edition of the lens for the Nikon Z mount. The model delivers a focal length of 16 mm and features a 9-blade diaphragm with a maximum open aperture of f/1.8. The optical formula of the Viltrox AF 16mm f/1.8 consists of 15 elements in 12 groups. Of these, three lenses are aspherical, and four glasses have extra-low dispersion.

This ensures high image clarity and effective suppression of chromatic aberrations. The lens is equipped with an automatic/manual focus switch, a wide focusing ring near the front frame, an aperture ring (with smooth or stepped rotation), and a color OLED display for displaying the set shooting parameters. The autofocus is handled by a quiet and fast STM drive. The model is compatible with light filters with a diameter of 77 mm. The weight of the wide-angle prime lens is about 550 g.
