The headphones also support Dolby Atmos and spatial sound. For pairing with external devices, Xiaomi Buds 5 relies on the Bluetooth v 5.4 wireless communication module. The model features active noise reduction ANC with three microphones in each earbud — it can muffle wind noise up to 12 m/s.
The noise reduction also works to transmit speech during conversations on a paired smartphone. The headphones support touch control, have basic protection against dust and moisture (IP54 rating), and boast decent battery life. Thus, without using the noise reduction system, the listening time of audio tracks will be about 6 hours, with "noise reduction" - about 3.5 hours. The charging case increases the autonomy indicators to 30 and 24 hours, respectively. The bottom of the case is matte, the top is glossy.
