Nestled in the more technical PS range, the watches animation ring is made of a special combination of carbon fibre and coloured resin, the latter matching the dial, strap colour and the Berlac filled bezel.

With recycling emerging as a result of industrial design, the recyclable number 7 specific animation ring reveals the conscious construction. The smoky grey translucent nylon allows the stainless steel body and fixing screws to be seen for the first time. The interface is stripped back to show the complete engine and the hands have been designed with metallic blue and Super Luminova for optimal visibility.

SevenFriday Watch P2B/02 Industrial. The P2B/02 reprises the industrial revolution inspired P-Series and the now infamous rounded square box. The multi level black and gold interface is encased in stainless steel with a sandblasted black PVD case. The new design language plays with transparency, gradients, a skeleton movement and an effective graphic design, resulting in diving into the interface. Graphic design together with skeleton movement are inspired by the blueprints from the industrial technical department, therefore the use of the letter T.

The collaboration between SEVENFRIDAY and PAPA DON’T PREACH was born out of their similarities as much as their differences! Firstly, their differences in heritage. Switzerland and India could not be more contrasting in everything from their way of working to style and trends. This, in addition to the differences between the watch and the fashion industry, could have been a hurdle if not for the brands’ shared mission and values. The natural collaboration between the two companies resulted in a product that is equal parts SEVENFRIDAY and PAPA DON’T PREACH.

SevenFriday Watch Tatoo M1/03. The M1/03 has a polished stainless steel case with sandblasted deep black animation ring. The M-Series three customised disks display the hours, minutes and seconds. The hours disk is visible in its entirety with the minutes disk closed but a quarter and seconds open on opposite halves accentuating the seven different layers of depth across the interface.
