Wood
— wooden stocks have been used in firearms and, later, airguns almost since the advent of both, and today they are strongly associated with the traditional, "time-tested" gun style. However, the tree looks good even without taking into account the “traditionality”, it is pleasant to the touch, strong enough, and during the production process it is also processed to protect it from dampness, temperature changes and other negative influences. On the other hand, for difficult conditions (such as hunting), stocks made of this material are worse than plastic stocks — they are less resistant to negative influences, and there is a high probability of spoiling at least the appearance. At the same time, the tree is heavier and significantly more expensive. As a result, today this variant is intended primarily for fans of classic weapon design.
