— the presence of additional straps for accessories on the fore-end of the rifle; most often these are Weaver or Picatinny mounts (for more details on the design of such mounts, see the relevant paragraph).

This feature allows you to equip the rifle with various additional “body kit”: fire transfer handles, laser designators, tactical lights, etc. However, in traditional pneumatics, there is usually only one bar on the forearm — from below; however, for such rifles, more is not required. But in AEGs (see "Type") and other models for airsoft, there is also more extensive equipment — in particular, a "quadrail" (handguard with slats on all 4 main sides), as well as mounting systems like M-LOK or KeyMode, which allow, at the request of the user, to install additional bars and change their location.
