Front wheel drive

— usually, it means support for full electric drive (see "Operating mode (electric bikes)"). The key advantage of this option is to increase stability: the front wheel pulls the entire bike behind it, minimizing the likelihood of skidding in turns. On the other hand, the electric motor on the front hub increases the overall weight of the wheel and increases the effort when turning the handlebar; and the cable from the battery has to be made quite long. Thus, this option is much less common than rear wheel drive.
