Electronic notepad

— a device with a stylus for handwritten notes, diagrams, and annotations in PDFs, often featuring text recognition and cloud synchronization. Compared to an e-reader, it is heavier and more expensive, with slightly lower battery life, but it offers broader capabilities: lecture notes, planning, contract revisions, workbooks. It can also be used for reading, though its strengths lie in writing and organizing thoughts. If maximum reading comfort is the priority, an e-reader is better; if handwritten input and workflow are vital, an electronic notebook is preferable.
