Unlike the popular Fury Beast, G.Skill Trident and Patriot Viper RAM lines, which are aimed primarily at enthusiasts and gamers, the Value series from the American brand OCPC comes out with mostly old-school RAM in the classical sense of the term. There are no extravagant radiators or complex lighting here, the overclocking capabilities are quite modest, and the main charm of the Value series lies in its accessibility and low cost.

The dominant role in the V series is occupied by simple laptop memory modules, which are usually purchased on a “buy and forget” basis. This is primarily entry-level and mid-level memory, which does not have a heatsink, does not support any overclocking technologies, and operates at the base DDR4 frequencies of 2400-2666 MHz. Along with them, in the V series there are slightly faster laptop options with a base frequency of 3200 MHz and some kind of heat sink, which are ideal for expanding RAM in a gaming laptop.

In the second most popular place in the V series range are the classic Value DDR4 modules with capacities of 4, 8 and 16 GB. In most cases, we are talking about basic-level strips without any radiators, heat sinks, backlighting or XMP support. Given the utilitarian nature of this line, all Value DDR4 memory is most often presented in versions with frequencies of 2400, 2666 and 3200 MHz. Modules with higher frequencies are practically never found in the series.
