The XPG series from the Taiwanese manufacturer A-Data produces high-quality overclocking memory with an emphasis on speed and appearance. According to the manufacturer, it was created for those users who are looking for advanced components, but at the same time are not eager to overpay for branding and marketing. For a better understanding, the entire XPG line can be divided into 2 groups - the first includes the minimalistic overclocking modules XPG GAMMIX, the second - the more colorful modder XPG SPECTRIX drives with RGB/ARGB backlighting.

In technical terms, the GAMMIX and SPECTRIX modules are almost identical. The difference is that the XPG SPECTRIX models are equipped with colorful radiators with LEDs. Moreover, this can be either relatively simple RGB LEDs or complex ARGB lighting, which looks great in a case with a transparent window or doors. For example, the radiators of the XPG SPECTRIX D60G are made in the form of multifaceted luminous crystals that completely cover the printed circuit board. The backlight is compatible with most popular synchronization systems from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and ASRock, allowing you to not bother too much with the settings.

The XPG RAM range starts with DDR4 format sticks with a minimum capacity of 8 GB. In the middle of the list are single sticks and double sets of GAMMIX and SPECTRIX with a capacity of 8 and 16 GB. The frequency range varies from 3200 to 3600 MHz.

Planks with frequencies of 4000 MHz and higher are not found here. However, no one forbids you to play with the memory settings yourself in an attempt to raise the clock frequency. It’s not for nothing that the manufacturer devoted so much time to the design of radiators. All XPG series RAM is sold in single or paired module formats, operating in single-channel or dual-channel mode. The choice of available memory sizes is as wide as possible: from 8 GB to 64 GB.
