The Swedish brand Fractal Design has a very consistent approach to design, which does not so much run after trends as set them itself. Ever since the original Define model, the company's designers have found their formula for success: high-quality assembly, thoughtful slot layout, high-quality noise insulation and exquisite minimalism in design. Largely thanks to this approach, the company has carved out a niche in the premium computer case market. However, they went in a different direction with the series in the early 2020s, introducing their take on a futuristic ARGB gaming case called the Vector.

The original Vector is a capacious Midi Tower case for serious gaming builds with large motherboards (note: E-ATX is supported), a serious set of expansion slots, excellent airflow, support for liquid cooling systems and often with pre-installed Dynamic X2 fans. The body is almost entirely made of glass and metal, including the front and side surfaces, and plastic is used only in the supporting elements and fastenings of the front panel. The signature minimalism of Fractal Design is diluted by an asymmetrical top cover and front panel, along which a thin ARGB strip is laid. Add serious noise insulation to this and you get a rather interesting hybrid of a gaming case and the premium chassis familiar to the company.

As is customary with Fractal Design, new models in the series appear infrequently, but each of them has its own unique feature. At the beginning of 2024, 2 almost identical variations of the Vector case were presented with one single difference - the side glass of the original model is completely transparent, and the Dark TG is tinted. Given Fractal Design's love for improving its products, it is logical to expect the appearance of Vector modifications in the Full Tower or Cube Case format, as well as models with an alternative front panel design.
