The history of the brand of the Swedish brand Fractal Design began with elite computer cases that stood out from the competition thanks to a strict minimalist design and a serious approach to noise isolation. But over time, the market made adjustments and over time, the Swedes had to descend from heaven to earth and produce simpler hulls. Actually, this is how the FD Core cases were born, in which the Swedes successfully used many of their old developments, but at the same time saved on trifles.

Taking into account the fact that this is not quite a format product for Fractal Design, updates to the Focus series are extremely rare. In fact, since 2017, two cases have been presented - a large Focus G, designed for ATX motherboards, and a compact Focus G, which is friends with reduced micro-ATX motherboards. To add some variety, Swedish designers have become generous with colours, releasing red, white, black, grey and blue variations of the Focus.

Unlike the more high-profile Define cases, the Focus models are designed a little more modestly - the metal is thinner here, there is no built-in lighting, the noise isolation level is not so serious, and the appearance is less refined. However, family ties are felt. With thoughtful layout, removable baskets, screwless mountings, and a hidden wire routing system, building a Focus-based computer is a real pleasure. The presence of six free places for installing additional turntables is great to untie the hands when designing a cooling system, and the presence of a viewing window will surely appeal to modders.
