The Mirage line from the Taiwanese brand Aerocool includes mid-size computer cases with a well-designed chassis, support for liquid cooling systems and not quite the usual RGB/ARGB backlighting. Thanks to the use of mirror panels, the lighting creates the effect of an endless mirror on the door, beautifully shimmering with all the colors of the rainbow. To enhance the visual effect, the manufacturer also installed several fans with transparent blades and built-in lighting inside the case. If desired, the mirror door can be removed for better ventilation.

Mirage cases are designed for mid-level builds and are marketed under the slogan “Save money, build better.” Inside a Midi Tower case, a standard ATX motherboard, a tower cooler up to 162 mm high, 7 – 8 case fans or a liquid cooling system with a radiator of 240 or 360 mm size are usually placed. The power supply is usually hidden in the lower section, there is a hidden routing of wires and the possibility of installing a full-fledged water supply, but there is not much free space inside and, for example, a bulky custom life-support system may not fit. Also, Mirage cases do not have the best ventilation due to the abundance of glass, so the manufacturer recommends using mid-level components a la Core i5/Ryzen 5 and GeForce RTX 3060, which do not suffer from overheating.

The original Mirage case was presented to the public in the spring of 2021. A little less than a year later, a second version of the Mirage arrived on store shelves with a pair of additional ARGB fans installed under the ceiling. As a result, it became even more beautiful, plus at the same time the efficiency of the airflow increased. Thanks to this, potential owners of the updated version were able to use hotter and more productive components without worrying about overheating.
