Key
— a cartridge in which the change of the nozzle is carried out using a special key — it is with this key that the locking mechanism is compressed and unclenched. This procedure is somewhat more complicated than using a keyless chuck, and you also need to be careful not to lose the key. On the other hand, the mount is as reliable as possible; according to this indicator, the keyed chuck is inferior only to the threaded spindle (see the relevant paragraph) used in diamond drilling.Note that this type of retainer is intended primarily for drills, however, some tools provide the installation of other nozzles in such a mechanism — bits and even socket heads.
