Swiss knives
— initially, Swiss knives were created for use in the army — but not as a weapon, but as a universal working tool. Actually, extensive functionality is one of the distinguishing features of this type: even the simplest “Swiss” have, in addition to the blade, 2-3 more additional functions, and the most advanced models are inferior to multi-tools, except perhaps due to the fundamental difference in design. Another characteristic feature is the relatively small size: although in some models the length of the blade can be on the order of 90 mm, however, they are the exception rather than the rule. Also, all Swiss knives are made folding.
