— aluminium alloys are lightweight and durable material that resists corrosion well. The second most popular handle material among multitools (see "Type"), however, it is quite common in knives. Among the disadvantages of aluminium, one can note the relatively high cost and the tendency to "cool" hands in cool weather (however, the latter is a common disadvantage of most metals).
