Dive knives
For diving
— knives designed for scuba divers and other divers. Outwardly, they are most often distinguished by large handles that have bright inserts for better visibility under water (although there are plain diving knives designed, in particular, for the military). However, this is far from the only feature of such models. So, the blade usually has a file — either on the butt, or in the form of a combined sharpening — for cutting nets and other ropes; for the same purpose, a sling cutter is often provided. And the large thickness of the blade allows the product to be used as a lever or wedge, for digging, etc. The tip can be blunt, to work as a screwdriver or chisel. Usually, a special scabbard with straps for attaching to the body or equipment is supplied with the "underwater" knife.for diving | clear | Save List |
