Monoblock action cameras

— in this case, we mean action cameras of a classical design — a rectangular shape, with a lens on one wide side and a control panel on the opposite. One of the advantages of this layout is the ability to complement the control panel with a fairly large display — it can even be made touch-sensitive, and there is often enough space for this.

The name "monoblock" is due to the fact that such cases are usually made in one piece and do not have moving parts.
